During the negotiation process referenced in the second sentence of subsection 3.18(B), the Contractor will discuss if any compensation adjustments are requested based on changes requested to the scope of services. However, the Contractor does not want to waive the ability to receive additional compensation for services added if it’s not requested formally due to a variety of circumstances. For example, the Contractor will ask inquiries related to the changes and the exchange process could take a few weeks to understand the impacts and if additional compensation is needed.

Price redeterminations are based solely upon changes in pricing or costs documented by either the Employment Cost Index (ECI) or Producer Price Index (PPI), whichever is applicable, as published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

All commercial general liability policies shall provide a waiver of subrogation in favor of the County and any other party required by this Agreement to be named as an additional insured. Could the County clarify why and how a Contractor would be able to meet this requirement? Contractors wouldn’t be involved with the County’s separate contracts that would have this type of requirement and as such it is putting undue financial liability onto the Contractor.

From time to time, the county may be required to name other parties as additional insured that we currently do not have a contract with. As a result, we have to have the ability to require our contractors to add a party as an additional insured.

Does the proposer need to submit resumes for every title in the proposal? For example, does Volusia County want to evaluate resumes for generalists such as “As-Need Project Coordinators”, or should resumes be limited to certain roles and titles?
