This project location is on Valencia Road from Kolb to Houghton (in the range of 3 miles). The project will consist of constructing Traffic signals, street lighting, concrete curbs, raised concrete medians, and six lanes of paved roadway with dedicated left turn lanes, and multimodal path.

To minimize traffic control, the City of Tucson is requesting the westbound roadway on the north side of the Right of Way be constructed first followed by a switching of the traffic from the old road to the new westbound road just constructed.

The construction method will consist of a cement treated base followed by the installation of a cementitious asphalt road surface.
