Overview
Summary
Thank you for your interest in contracting opportunities with the San Joaquin Council of Governments (SJCOG). SJCOG is seeking statements of qualification from qualified organizations (e.g., community-based, advocacy, environmental, faith-based, etc.) to participate in SJCOG’s Social Equity Advisory Committee. The purpose of the advisory committee is to assist SJCOG in developing recommendations for its Social Equity Planning Project. This RFQ describes the Social Equity Planning Project as well as the role of the advisory committee. The RFQ outlines the required scope of services, the selection process, and the minimum information that must be included in the statement of qualifications.
Background
SJCOG is seeking statements of qualification from qualified community-based organizations (CBO), non-profits, transportation organizations, and/or any local interested parties to participate in SJCOG’s Social Equity Advisory Committee. With the help of a consultant team, SJCOG’s Social Equity Planning Project aims to establish definitions and goals for the agency, and develop near-term implementation strategies, and recommendations for future planning. The Social Equity Advisory Committee will inform the project’s objectives and outcomes. Up to five (5) organizations will be selected as a result of this RFQ. Selected organizations will serve on the advisory committee as well as comprise a shortlist for SJCOG community engagement assistance for its various projects and programs. The estimated value of each award will be $3,000. Time spent to prepare invoices shall be considered an included overhead expense. The maximum amount awarded shall not be exceeded unless an amendment is executed by SJCOG.
