OC PUBLIC WORKS IS SOLICITING BIDS FROM CONTRACTORS INTERESTED IN ENTERING INTO A CONTRACT FOR OC LOOP CARBON CREEK CHANNEL SEGMENT D BIKEWAY GAP CLOSURE
ALL QUESTIONS PERTAINING TO THIS SOLICITATION MUST BE SUBMITTED THROUGH OPENGOV. ANY COUNTY RESPONSE RELEVANT TO THIS SOLICITATION OTHER THAN THROUGH OR APPROVED BY OC PUBLIC WORKS/PROCUREMENT IS UNAUTHORIZED AND WILL BE CONSIDERED INVALID.
ALL CONTRACTORS AND SUBCONTRACTORS MUST COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF LABOR CODE SECTION 1771.1(A), PERTAINING TO REGISTRATION OF CONTRACTORS PURSUANT TO SECTION 1725.5.
BIDDERS MUST HOLD AN ACTIVE "A" CONTRACTOR’S LICENSE ISSUED BY CALIFORNIA STATE CONTRACTOR’S LICENSE BOARD FOR THE DURATION OF THE PROJECT.
BIDDERS ARE ADVISED TO CAREFULLY READ THE COUNTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS, INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS, AND THE MODEL CONTRACT INCLUDING THE ATTACHMENTS PRIOR TO SUBMITTING A BID. AWARDED CONTRACTOR MUST PROVIDE ALL INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS WITHIN TEN (10) CALENDAR DAYS OF RECOMMENDATION OF AWARD.
**CONTRACTOR WILL BE REQUIRED TO SIGN A CONTRACT UPON NOTICE OF AWARD. IF CONTRACTOR IS A CORPORATION, SIGNATURE WILL BE PROVIDED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CORPORATION’S CODE.

BIDS WILL BE PUBLICLY OPENED AND READ IN ROOM 102, AT 2:00 PM, ON WEDNESDAY, MARCH 20, 2024, IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK OF THE BOARD, 400 W. CIVIC CENTER DR., SANTA ANA, CA 92701
IT IS THE CONTRACTOR’S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK BACK FREQUENTLY FOR ANY ADDENDA AND/OR OTHER INFORMATION.
THE COUNTY RECEIVES FEDERAL HIGHWAY ADMINISTRATION (FHWA) FEDERAL-AID FROM THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION (CALTRANS) AND AS A CONDITION OF RECEIVING SUCH ASSISTANCE HAS DEVELOPED A 22% DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISE (DBE) GOAL FOR THIS CONTRACT IN ACCORDANCE WITH FEDERAL REGULATIONS PUBLISHED UNDER TITLE 49 CFR, PART 26, CALTRANS LOCAL ASSISTANCE PROCEDURES MANUAL (LAPM) AND SUBSEQUENT GUIDANCE.
