Hello everyone, we are publicly posting our guidance on a couple of questions that have been raised about the project on two separate topics. These responses have been confirmed with City leadership:
Bonding - The City will need some recourse for physical installation damages, but does not intend this to be a deterrent to bid. We will work with finalists to delineate the right level of coverage later in the process. However, a 100% Payment Bond will be required if the selected vendor intends to subcontract any of these services.
Contractors - At this stage, the City is exclusively focused on the answers to the system-wide questions contained within the solicitation rather than electrician selection, and will not be providing any registered list.
