Overview
Summary
The City of Cleveland (“City”), owner and operator of Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (“CLE”), Burke Lakefront Airport (“BKL”) (collectively “Airports”) and the North Coast Harbor (“Harbor”), through its Director of the Department of Port Control (“Director”), invites written Proposals from firms that have requisite, demonstrable competence and experience in providing Multiple Tenant Structures - Design / Build Services (the “Project”) as required by the various divisions of the Department of Port Control (“Department”) and described more fully in this RFP.
Qualified firms either singly or in joint venture or other legal arrangements (collectively, the “Contractor” or “Consultant”) must have the requisite, demonstrated competence and experience in, and a thorough knowledge of, the services required for the Project.
Background
The Department is soliciting proposals from qualified Firms, with demonstrated experience in providing professional design/build services, to include a full range of architectural/engineering services, and general construction services, for permanent structures and associated pavements at CLE. This RFP is an invitation to experienced design/build firms to submit proposals to the Department outlining, in detail, their ability to serve as a designer and developer to the Department, to assist in the comprehensive design and construction of development areas detailed below. The development areas will be utilized by airline support services such as aircraft deicing, fueling, and ground support services and will support administrative operations, provide indoor storage and maintenance for equipment, and provide parking for fuel trucks with environmental protections.
