General work description:
The City of Washougal (“City”) is requesting proposals from prospective and qualified vendors to provide printing, inserting and mailing of utility bills, past due notices and disconnect notices. The ideal vendor will provide current service requirements as well as assist the City of Washougal in finding ways to save the City money. The vendor will have some experience in the public sector and have worked with local governments that are both larger and smaller than the City of Washougal.
Background
The City, population 17,490, is located in Clark County in southwest Washington. Washougal is a full-service city, providing for:
- Public safety functions of police and contracted services for fire and emergency medical services
- Community development functions of planning and code
- Public infrastructure such as streets, parks and utilities
