Current staffing needs are limited to three main buildings. City Hall 62,138 sq. ft., Police Building 26,562 sq. ft., and City Hall Annex 41,688 sq. ft. Current Day-Porter's access is limited to just the public areas of the facilities and not the secure suites. This limits the square footage of Day-Porter coverage to approximately 1/3 the total sq. ft.

Currently Facilities Maintenance Custodial staff are not fluent in Spanish, however they are a diverse group from many nations that have learned English. So, a phone translator would not be out of the question for communications.

Currently Facilities Maintenance has two part-time (30 hours) and one full time (40 hours) day porters.

Workers are not required to use their personal vehicles for any part of their daily duties. Buildings are downtown and side by side, so travel to and from buildings is minimal. Parking is not provided nor is parking validation to employees. Parking by street or by parking garage.
